Hello folks, today's walkthrough is of the 'Halloween 3D Retro Oven' make. It was requested by many of you after I made a 'Red Cookies 3D Retro Oven' and I hope I manage to answer as many questions as possible with this step-by-step of the Halloween version I made. This make generally consists of a 3D box template that I have personally designed for this project of which you can download and print from HERE and of the new Tim Holtz Retro Oven Die. Matting & Layering TOP TIP Technique

Hello folks, I'm here to share with you today, my take on 'layering and measuring' for my ever-day crafting. I don't use measuring in the traditional sense and I have a lovely top tip for helping with all those matting and layering occasions. This blog post isn't going to be a normal start to finish of a card make but purely focusing on the techniques to take forward in all of those crafting ambitions. Take a look at this short step-by-step. Here I have a colour stencilled piece of cardstock that I am looking to matt and layer on to the white cardstock behind. I place the stencilled artwork to the top left corner of the white cardstock and created the thickness of the framing that I wanted with the top and left side. You can have as big or small of an edge/framing as you choose. I then marked with a pencil the same frame/edge width at the top right and the bottom left. How to add some depth without having to use raised elements - Thank You So Much Card

Hello folks, today I'm going to walk you through a recent card make where with a few colours, a sentient and some cute characters, you can make your own quick and cheerful card. The twist is going to be by adding depth in a different way than just using those 3D Foam pads and I'll give you an easy tip to help. To start, I cut my white cardstock approximately to my 6x6" card size. I put down some Mustard Seed Distress Oxide first, then randomly applied some carved pumpkin in a few areas and over those areas I added Abandoned Coral to give a gradient effect. I carefully placed the Time for Tea Designs Starry Sky Stencil over my blended cardstock and taped in place with Low Tac Tape . I then blended Dusty Concord and Chipped Saphire Distress Oxide through the stencil. I simply cut down my cardstock to the size I wanted for my card using my Fiskars Trimmer.
